İngilizcede En Çok Kullanılan Bağlaçlar

İngilizcede en çok kullanılan bağlaçlar (conjunctions), cümleleri, kelimeleri ya da ifadeleri birbirine bağlamak için kullanılır.Bu bağlaçlar genellikle sebep-sonuç, zıtlık, amaç, koşul, zaman gibi anlam ilişkileri kurar.İşte en yaygın kullanılan bağlaçlar ve anlamlarıyla birlikte kısa açıklamaları:

🔹 Koordine Edici Bağlaçlar (Coordinating Conjunctions)

Bu bağlaçlar eş görevli kelime ve cümleleri bağlar:

1. And – ve
   I like coffee and tea.

2. But – ama
   She is tired, but she will continue.

3. Or – ya da
   Do you want coffee or tea?

4. So – bu yüzden
   It was raining, so we stayed home.

5. For – çünkü (edebi, resmî)
   He stayed home, for he was ill.

6. Yet – yine de
   She’s rich, yet very humble.

7. Nor – ne de
   He doesn’t like pizza, nor does he like pasta.

1. Although / Though / Even though – -e rağmen
   Although it was raining, they went outside.

2. While / Whereas – iken, oysa
   He likes tea, whereas she prefers coffee.

🔹 Sebep – Sonuç Bildiren Bağlaçlar

1. Because – çünkü
   I stayed home because I was sick.

2. Since – çünkü
   Since you’re here, let’s start.

3. As – çünkü
   As it was late, we left early.

🔹 Koşul Bildiren Bağlaçlar

1. If – eğer
   If it rains, we’ll cancel the picnic.

2. Unless – -mezse/-madıkça
   You can’t go out unless you finish your homework.

3. Provided that / As long as – şartıyla
   You can come as long as you behave.

   Call me when you arrive.

2. While – sırasında

3. Before / After / Until / Since – önce / sonra / -e kadar / -den beri
   We waited until she arrived.

1. So that – olsun diye
